Unable to log in to Ponemah v5.32 when disconnected from the Domain
Symptom:
Version affected: 5.32
While disconnected from the domain, only the user who logged on to Windows can log on to Ponemah.
Workaround:
If User2 needs to log in to Ponemah after User1 has logged on to Windows and started Ponemah the following steps will allow User2 to log on to Ponemah:
- CTRL-ALT-DEL and select Switch User
- Log on to Windows as User2
- CTRL-ALT-DEL and select Switch User
- Log on to Windows as User1 (to get back to Ponemah)
- Log into Ponemah as User2
NOTE:
- The Windows account in which Ponemah is run may need to be a shared account unless User 1 is always available to log back in to Windows after a CTRL-ALT-DEL
- The sequence listed above can be executed while an acquisition is in progress
- On Windows 7 a maximum of 8 users are supported while disconnected (I don’t know the limit for Windows 10)
