Data files disappear when collecting data using Ponemah v5.20 and Noldus Media Recorder
Symptom:
Previous data collections days data files disappear after subsequent data acquisitions when using Ponemah v5.20 and Noldus Media Recorder.
Resolution:
When opening Noldus Media Recorder v2.6, there is a file location specified in the lower right of the window that has a default of C:\Users\Public\Documents\Noldus\Media Recorder\Video Files. When acquisition is started, Media Recorder first clears this folder and then begins collection of the new video files, which are in sync with the Ponemah v5.20 data. When acquisition is stopped within Ponemah, the video files in this location are copied to the folder where the Ponemah data is located, normally the C:\Ponemah Data folder. DO NOT change the file location in Media Recorder, as this is a temporary directory and whichever folder it is changed to will be cleared when data collection starts.
