Ponemah v5 must be "Replayed" if the an incorrect setting of the following items were made during acquisition:

• Incorrect Specie
• Incorrect Analysis Module

First, open Ponemah without opening a review file. 

No Protocol (*.PRO) File exists

If no Protocol (*.PRO) file exist, then you will need to either create one from scratch or simply extract the *.PRO file from the current Review file that needs to be replayed. Otherwise, skip to the section Replay Protocol Changes  To extract a Protocol file (*.PRO), perform the following steps.  

1. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select File -> Open Review File.  
2. In the Select Review File dialog, select the .RVW (review) file that was used to perform the acquisition.  Click Open.
3. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Function-> Export Protocol.  
4. Enter a name in the filename field and select save
5. Close the Review File

Replay Protocol Changes

1. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select File -> Open Protocol.  
2. In the Open Protocol dialog, select the .PRO (protocol) file that was used to perform the acquisition.  Click Open.
3. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Setup-> P3 Setup
   • First make changes to the Groups Sections of the P3Setup Dialog. This includes changing any species changes.   DO NOT select OK or Apply within the P3Setup dialog.
   • Second make changes to the Channel Input Setup.  This includes changes the analysis modules.  Make sure to set the analysis module to DIS (disable) for any channels that are not assigned a signal. 

4. Select OK in the P3Setup Dialog

Replay File

1. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Replay -> Replay Filename.
2. In the Replay Filename dialog, select the .RAW file for the acquisition that needs to be replayed.  Click Open.
3. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Replay -> Data Set Name.
4. In the Data Set Name dialog, enter a filename for the replayed file.  Click Save.
5. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Replay -> Start Replay.
6. Let the replay run for a few seconds.
7. From the drop down at the top of the main Ponemah window, select Functions-> Stop Replay.
