DSI2135: No sampling slot(s) available for continuous sampling.
Symptom
When trying to start a continuous sampling session in Dataquest ART, you receive the following error:
DSI2135: No sampling slot(s) available for continuous sampling.
Resolution
Check to make sure that the number of continuous sampling slots is set to the number of subjects you are trying to simultaneously collect from. Also, please note the metallic version of your software as this will help to dictate the number of subject you can sample from together.
The following outline the number of subjects that can be simultaneously collected from by metallic version:
- Silver = 2
- Gold = 8
- Platinum = 16
Note: Each Data Exchange Matrix (DEM) can only sample from 4 input sources at a time. For instance, if you had a Gold system that permits 8 subjects to be sampled from simultaneously, you would need 2 DEMs connected to sample from 4 subjects on each DEM.
To determine your metallic version select Help | About Acquisition.
To update the number of sampling slots defined to continuous sampling:
- Select Configuration | Settings.
- Select the Schedule tab.
- Update the number of "Slots for Scheduled Sampling".
This is the number of slot you are defining to schedule sampling, the remaining slots are available for continuous sampling. If you want all available slots to be defined to continuous, set this number to 0.
