How to change the parameters averaging interval in Dataquest ART
Dataquest A.R.T. reached its End of Life (EOL) in July 2015 and is no longer available for purchase. For information on continued support, please see DSI Software Support Lifecycle policy for software product support and discontinuation guidelines.Due to technology upgrades and software compatibility, DSI cannot guarantee the functionality of Dataquest ART on computers manufactured after July 2015.
In Dataquest ART, the Segment Duration (which translates into the 'logging interval' in Ponemah) is normally set before collecting the data:
However, if the data was collected with a 10-second segment duration, it is still possible to shorten it in Analysis.
You won't be able to modify the segment duration when loading parameters. Everything will be greyed out:
In order to shorten the segment duration, when loading the waveform:
You have to go to the Segment tab and change the Segment duration to 5 seconds, for example:
This will load the data in segments of 5 seconds :
Then right click the pressure channel and select Mark waveforms:
Then right click the marked waveform and select Extract.
This will extract : dPdt, diastolic pressure, systolic pressure, mean pressure, and IBI for each cycle within each segment:
Finally, select all extracted parameters, right click and select Generate Statistics Series:
This will generate 5-second averages:
Note that the average Heart rate can be computed from the average IBI (see attached file).
HR average = 60 / IBI average
