When attempting to calibrate any of the Buxco Hardware sites (WBP, NAM, RC, and PFT) using FinePointe software, several error message may occur. The two most common error messages are: 

• “Error: Instrument Not Found”
• “Error: Hardware is not functioning Properly”

These error messages occur intermittently during the calibration, occurring roughly 50% of the time.

 

 

Both of these error messages are caused by a flaw in the USB port in the Buxco hardware. The solution is to add a Powered USB Hub to the system.
