SoHub Firmware for SoHo-X00N
The SoHo-X00N implants are compatible only with SoHubs running firmware v1.x. Before starting an acquisition in a study using these implants, ensure to verify the SoHub firmware version.
Verify SoHub Firmware Version
- With the SoHub connected to the system, launch Ponemah.
- Select Hardware | SoHo Diagnostics…
Note: If using Ponemah v5.7x or v5.9x, select Hardware | Diagnostics… - Choose the SoHub from the Selected SoHub dropdown.
- View the Firmware (FW) listed for the selected SoHub.
Accessing Firmware
From the Ponemah Installation Image:
- Install Ponemah v5.90 or v.680.
- Navigate to the following folder: C:\Ponemah\Firmware\SoHo\
- Zip files of SoHo Firmware will be listed by Model and Version.
From the DSI Support Center:
- Go to the DSI Support's Center.
- Click Submit a request in the top navigation bar.
- In the Please choose your issue below dropdown, select Request Firmware Download.
- In the Firmware Download Version field, select the required SoHub firmware version.
- Complete the remaining fields of the form, then click Submit.
- You will receive an email with a link to download the firmware.
- Click the link to open the download page on Box.com, then click the Download button in the top right corner.
- Once downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select Extract All to unzip the contents.
Installing Firmware
- With the SoHub connected to the system, launch Ponemah.
- Select Hardware | SoHo Diagnostics…
Note: If using Ponemah v5.7x or v5.9x, select Hardware | Diagnostics… - Choose the SoHub from the Selected SoHub dropdown. SoHubs are displayed under the COM port dropdown.
- Click the Firmware Upgrade button. Note: Use this button to install or downgrade to a previous SoHub firmware version.
- Navigate to and select the SoHub Firmware zip file. The firmware should be stored locally on the computer (e.g. C:\Ponemah\Firmware\SoHo\). If you do not have the latest version of the firmware, please request the required version from the DSI Support Center, Request firmware update.
- Click Open.

A progress dialog will appear and inform on firmware update progress. The SoHub will disconnect and re-connect during this process.
- The progress dialog will disappear once the firmware update process is complete. The new firmware version will be displayed.
