DSI Implants will not be damaged by x-ray exposure.
It is possible to expose an implanted animal to x-ray without damaging the implant's internal components.
Acquiring data during the exposure, however, may cause noise or signal interference. This depends greatly on the equipment in the room and the operating frequencies that equipment is using.
DSI suggests testing the ability to acquire and save data prior to running the main experiment.
