Can you use a Defibrillator with DSI Transmitters?
Although DSI transmitters are not specifically designed with defibrillator protection, we do not expect to see defibrillator use causing any damage to the transmitter nor have we seen damage when defibrillators have been used previously.
DSI does not guarantee that no damage will occur, but if a transmitter is damaged by defibrillation, it will be replaced under warranty.
The one exception to this statement is that the defibrillator voltage cannot be applied directly to the leads of a biopotential channel of the transmitter.
