What is the freezing temperature of a pressure catheter?
The liquid in the pressure catheter freezes at -25° C, so it should be perfectly safe to freeze any model of transmitter in a normal freezer. Therefore, if an animal dies and you don't have time to explant the transmitter right away, it is safe to freeze the transmitter in a normal freezer.
