Ponemah SEND Remote Server Synchronization Setup
Compatibility
The following instructions require the Ponemah SEND v3.1 module and apply to Ponemah v5.31 and greater.
Please note, the Ponemah SEND 3.1 module is not compatible with Ponemah v6.x.
SQL Server
- Setup a SQL Server instance named P3Plus_v2
- Add a temporary SQL user with the following rights:
- dbcreator
- securityadmin
NOTE: Do not use P3StudyUsers as the name of the temporary SQL user.
- Set the password to never expire.
- Do not require a password change on first logon.
Central Server Utility
- Run Ponemah.CentralServer.exe
C:\Ponemah\Utilities\Ponemah.CentralServer\ - Enter the following information
- Server name: <ServerName>\P3Plus_v2
<ServerName>\P3Plus_v2,<port> (if a specific port is desired) - Version to Create: 531
- Select SQL Server authentication
- SQL Server Username: Name of the temporary SQL account
- SQL Server password: Password of the temporary SQL account
- Server name: <ServerName>\P3Plus_v2
- Select Create Server.
- Note any messages/errors that listed in the application.
- The following actions will be taken:
- A P3StudyUsers account will be setup by the app with dbcreator rights.
- P3Plus_531 database will be created.
- P3Studies database and tables will be created.
Create SEND_31 database
- Launch Ponemah.
- Open Setup menu | P3 Setup | SEND tab.
- Enter the Server Name in the Output Server edit field and select Test connection.
This will create the SEND_31 database on the Output Server. - Click OK.
