The .MRS file is a settings file created by the Noldus Media Recorder (MR) upon saving the settings or closing the MR. It saves this with the name currentsettings.mrs within the following Noldus MR directory: “C:\Users\Public\Documents\Noldus\Media Recorder\Video Files”. Ponemah copies this file to the Ponemah_Data directory and changes the name to the protocolname.mrs. This protocol specific .mrs file is then copied to the Noldus directory as currentsettings.mrs prior to starting acquisition and displaying the configuration dialog in order to ensure the camera settings associated with that Acquisition/Setup are used.
