Windows has an "elevation prompt" to run Windows Properly. This elevation prompt asks the user to allow this app to make changes when opening Ponemah. This article covers how to disable this prompt when opening Ponemah.
Ponemah is a program that requires elevation to run properly and either the popup prompt will look like Figure 1 or Figure 2 below.
How can I disable this prompt only for Ponemah and without changing the UAC settings ?
Download the Windows ADK (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit) from Microsoft's website :
Make sure you download the ADK corresponding to your version of Windows 10 :
Install the Windows ADK :
Just select Application Compatibility Tools :
Run Compatibility Administrator (64-bit) as an administrator :
In the Custom Databases node, right click New Database and select Create New > Application Fix :
Enter the following information :
In the compatibility modes, select RunAsInvoker :
Click Save, and select a name for the database :
Now you have to apply the compatibility fix package to Ponemah.
Right-click on the newly created rule and select Install :
Now, the Elevation Prompt won't appear when starting Ponemah.
