License is Unsigned and will not work.
When opening NeuroScore for the first time, the user must select a valid license. When selecting a new, valid license from DSI the user will get the return 'License is UNSIGNED and will NOT work.' This is likely due to cryptography settings used in the background.
To work around this, there are a few settings that a user can change with regards to the security policy on the PC. The Windows environment may be configured to use FIPS encryption that is conflicting with WebInspect. This will need to be disabled.
To disable FIPS encryption:
- Navigate to Start menu | Control Panel | Administrative tools | Local Security Policy.
- Under the "Local Policies" heading, select "Security Options"
- Located the entry "System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing."
- If enabled, DISABLE it.
Also, open the registry editor and browse to the following path. Make sure this registry subkey is set to 1:
